I’m a Scottish lass through and through—born and raised in a quiet corner of the Highlands, where the lochs are deep, the mountains are high, and the WiFi is questionable. After spending my twenties and thirties traveling the world (including a stint living in Australia), I’ve come full circle and now live by the sea in the Highlands with my husband and children.
I first trained in costume design and spent years immersed in history, fashion, and storytelling through fabric, even running my own clothing label inspired by my Scottish heritage. Then, at another stage of life, I found myself in a nine-to-five office job—worlds away from creativity. That’s when writing found me. Weekends became my escape, and before I knew it, one book turned into two, and I’d discovered my true calling—crafting uplifting, feel-good women’s fiction set in Scotland.
Now, I write stories about strong women, big dreams, and new beginnings, all wrapped up in warmth and charm.
Stubborn to the core, I love proving people wrong—whether that’s trekking 5,416m up the Himalayas, skydiving, or turning a passion for storytelling into a full-time career.
When I’m not writing, you’ll find me daydreaming at the beach, lost in a period drama, or unwinding with a glass of wine and a shameful amount of crisps.
